Job Description and Requirements
Essential Functions:
* Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
* compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entire accounts,such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
* analyzes financial information detailing assets,liabilities and capital
* prepare balance sheet,profit and loss and statement and other reports to summarize current and projected company position.
* establishes ,modifies,documents and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
* devises and implements manual or computer based system for general accounting
* directs and coordinates activities of other clerical workers performing accounting and bookkeeping tasks as per requires
Daily Activities:
* handling and replenishment of petty cash
* perform payment procedures to various suppliers. audits contracts ,order and vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transaction prior to settlement
* monitor payment of utility bills such as water and electricity and telephone before its due date
* prepare payroll for all of the employees before the end of the month
* collect time sheets from all clients on first week of the ff: month
* prepare monthly invoice based on the time sheet and submit to the clients at the earliest
* prepare weekly statement of accounts receivable and send letter to clients with the overdue accounts
* monitor treasury activities-bank accounts balances and prepare weekly balance report
Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
* Bachelors Degree in Accountancy
* Minimum 1 year experience in clerical accounting
* Excellent in English language both oral and written
* Female – 23-26 yrs old
Knowledge & Skills
* Familiarity in Accounting terminology and procedures
* knowledge of accounting procedures including filing accounting records,check processing,data entry and cash applications
* skill to review data and data processing;detail oriented
* skill to use a personal computer and various software packages such as MS word,MS excel
* skill to use modern office equipments such as scanners,fax machine and printers
* skill to type at least 45 words per minute
* ability to establish priorities , work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision
