* B.S. in Commerce / Accountancy
* Certified Cost Accountant
* 8 years experience in similar position with contracting companies.
* To perform advanced cost-accounting work covering material, project costs, etc.
* To compare actual costs to estimate and analyze variances.
* Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system.
* Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
* Conduct ongoing process constraint analysis.
* Update bill of material standard costs.
* Report on periodic variances and their causes.
* Analyze capital budgeting requests.
* Perform cost accumulation tasks as a member of the target costing group.
* Coordinate physical inventories and cycle counts.
* Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles.
