Job Description and Requirements
WINDOWS FILM INSTALLER JOB SUMMARY This job involves identifying problems, removing fixed and movable body glass from the vehicle, preparing window surfaces, applying tinting processes and installing glass ensuring that trimming of components and application of adhesives is carried out. It is also necessary to ensure that the vehicle passes a safety/roadworthy inspection prior to customer use. JOB DESCRIPTION 1. Prepare glass for application of window tinting. 2. Measure glass for cutting film. 3. Creates pattern or uses existing pattern for cutting film using “Computer Cut” 4. Examines glass for defects prior to application. 5. Coats flat and automotive glass with window tinting to achieve effects if darkening, UV protection, graffiti protection, and security. 6. Monitor stock levels to maintain enterprise activities 7. Dispose of waste and maintain a tidy work area 8. Follow workplace occupational health and safety procedures 9. Use and maintain workplace tools and equipment 10. Establish relations with customers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must understand English (written and verbal)
Must be fit and healthy
5 years work experience in automotive glass tinting/window film installation in a car dealer company (Toyota, Mitsubishi, etc.) with certification
Preferably with experience on branded brand like V-Kool, Solar Guard, Sun Guard, Nanolux, Ziebart, AC Delco or 3M window film
Experience in Computer Cut* equipment is definitely an advantage Minimum qualification
10 years work experience in a car accessory shop that offers window film installation
Must understand English (written and verbal)
