Principal accountabilities:
Troubleshoot and carry routine Preventive Maintenance service on all Rental
equipment, as outlined in the Manufacturer’s Service Manual or other published
information in the workshop and in the field.
Submit accurate and complete Inspection Reports, as required by the Service
procedures at the site.
Note and report all defects, damage, misuse, abuse or lack of maintenance on the
equipment inspected at the site.
Responsible for minor and major mechanical repairs, within his technical ability.
Work overtime when required. Ready to work at any location wherever required in the
Kingdom.
Key Result Area:
Successful troubleshooting of mechanical problems in Diesel Power Gensets in particular and other Heavy Equipment in the Rental fleet in general, such as Man Lifts, Fork Lifts, Construction Machinery, including Dozers, Wheel Loaders, Excavators and Back-Hoe Loaders. Compressors, Welders, Compactors and Cranes.

Job requirements:
Education:
To Secondary level, followed by a minimum of 3 – 4 years in Mechanical Apprenticeship.
Experience:
Must have at least 6 years of experience working in Field Service and Workshop on Diesel Engine Generators (preferably CAT). Must show the ability to work independently, with good knowledge of the English language to enable him to read and understand Service manuals and write Work Orders.
General Intelligence:
Ability to work unsupervised and independently diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems on CAT diesel engines.
Special Aptitudes:
Driver’s License and a good command over English.
Skills
Ability to perform installation, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, fault analysis, and repairs on all Rental equipment at the site.
Capability of performing the job assigned in a timely and accurate manner; develop the initiative to learn and perform the Mechanical skills independently and with confidence.
